Review for golf trolleys
This is the most outstanding golf movie bar none. The acting was supberb. This movie should go down as a classic!
If you love Shia and love sports movies with heart, then this is the film for you. Golf lovers and lovers of film will adore this movie. get it today.
I thought this was an excelent movie and brought to life one of the great true stories of early golf in America. It shows how Frances Ouimet paved the way for amateur golfers and made golf available to regular people rather than the rich and elitests.
Bill Paxton directs this outstanding golf flick,”The Greatest Game Ever Played”.I had to give the movie a slight edge over “The Legend of Bagger Vance”,another outstanding film, directed by Robert Redford. I guess what it really comes down to, was the two performances by the caddies, Will Smith in the “The Legend of Bagger Vance” and Josh Flitter, who, in my opinion stole the show in “The Greatest Game Ever Played”. Flitter portrayed Eddie Lowery, who was just a few inches taller than a “jumbo” driver, which is one of the club’s of choice in this day and age for a weekend golfer.Eddie was the show stopper with all of his great lines in the flick…and the ending, well I won’t go into that…but I was on the golf course the next day. I couldn’t wait to get back out on the links.See them both, you’ll be happy that you did.
This is a great movie!! If you love golf, you gotta love this (plus a true story)!
I never golfed and it helped me alot, I still watch it after 3 months, very helpful tips.
Nice video and alot of great tips. Very good instructional video, I have another one I bought and this has better tips
This DVD was enjoyable to watch. It covered a lot of basic skills in a resonable time frame, which meant I did not get bored! A true beginning golfer might want something more in-depth, but this is a good refresher course DVD for mid-high handicappers. The sections for women and seniors are good also.
Wonderful instructional video. Covers basic to intermediate. Good camera angles to give you a real look a what a great swing looks like and instruction on how to mimic it. I learned a great deal. Would highly recommend.
Try something else, this is an old collection of tips that will not help your game much. Leadbetter is a great teacher–but these lessons are just not worth the money, try some other dvds.
Too much basic stuff, not enough significant instruction. I would not pay for instruction from this teacher. This DVD lacks too much.
Some great tips and great drills. Also, very good graphics and camera angles to illustrate his points. It is no wonder, he is one of the best golf instructors around. I can’t stand the he wears his clothes, especially that he pulls his pants up to his chest, but that should not detract from his excellent instruction.
This is a helpfull set ,dealing with best tips , course management and
some drills to improve the game . I get a feeling that these three DVDs
are not selling as well as Leadbetter other DVDs so they have been clubbed together .
Leadbetter is an excellent trainer and provides valuable insights to improve your game, but I found a number of lessons are repeated in the set , this could have been avoided .
Los videos son muy buenos como todo lo que hace Leadbetter, son muy claros, lastima que no estan en espaƱol. los recomiento al igual que la cinta de entrenamiento.
This instruction is awesome! I have been playing golf now for just about 2 years and is now scoring in the mid to low 80’s because of this DVD. The only knocks are that it is not for someone too knew to golf. There are no instructions on setup, grip, ball placement, knee bend and spine angle. It will not address the “FUNDAMENTALS” of golf. It will not address game play and decision making, or short game. It will however help you to construct a solid, repeatable, consistent swing. I was not able to digest all of the instruction at once, it has taken me months of watching this DVD time and time again, tweaking my swing steps after mastering each individual steps one by one. You won’t be able to watch this DVD and in 2 weeks you become a low handicapper. But you will be able to see your swing become more consistent and reliable as you master each step. It still takes time, but it gives you great direction. I suggest you learn “fundamentals” first from someone like Ben Hogan possibly then move to this.
One of the best golf videos dealing with the swing. Very detailed and meant to be used in steps. Good exercises for practice. He gives you strategies to practice at the range. This video has helped my game.
(VHS) If I had this tape 30 years ago it sure would’ve saved me a lot of misery on the course. The most important thing this video gave me was a true ‘feel’ for what the golf swing was all about. After a month, my confidence was very high on the course and for a two-week period I had “it,” even a hole-in-one. Then an old college football injury sidelined me. It’s called the 8-step but, as Jim says in the video, you can make it a 4-step if you want. I can’t recommend this tape enough.
Clear concise instruction on how the arms and body work in the golf swing. Clear communication at a good pace makes this golf instruction DVD a worthwhile addition to your library.
The guide has created a new approach in golf for me. Every steps has been described in details. especially, i love all the “death moves” warning from Jim. The only downside is that there are not many shots from side angles which is essential for a high handicap player like me as well as slow motion shots.
If you’re a golf fan this is a great video to get a perspective and background on the history of golf, how it has evolved. Some great vintage photos and videos. It’s from 1999, so you won’t see all the hype about tiger woods and the more recent golf stuff, but for a newbie to golf or the serious golfer, it’s a great watch.
