   The chipping and driving net system is now being used in Afghanistan by American troops. They have e-mailed me and said that they are having a great time in their off duty hours driving and chipping balls. I will be purchasing more of these systems to send over to the troops.

   My husband loves it – uses it everyday to unwind after work. Fairly easy to setup, but you definitely need two people when it comes time to stand it up. It’s a large net and takes up a good amount of space, so make sure you have somewhere to put it so you’re not having to take it down and put it back up again.

   I am new in golf and I have had only one lesson. This DVD gave me a lot of good points that a beginner can use. His style in teaching is well illustrated and articulated. All one has to do now is put it into practise.

   One of the best golf videos I’ve seen. My wife is a beginner and I’m an accomplished golfer… we both benefited from this helpful and humorous instructional DVD. Gary McCord’s presentation is very upbeat and the tips are spot on. Covers nearly every aspect of the game — the mechanics of the golf swing is worth watching by anybody that plays golf. Two thumbs up on this one!

   A great video with some solid tips…bottom line: take some lessons, find what works for you and practice, practice, practice. There is no video and no training aid that will instantly make you a great golfer. This video is nice way for beginners to learn the basics of the game and for the rest of us hacks to learn somethings to help our game.

   Before you spend another $400 to $500 on your next driver or $800 to $1200 on your next set of irons, you should consider reading this book.

   Tom Wishon addresses many myths:

   Does the modern club hit farther than the older clubs?
   How much does moment of inertia play a part in your game?
   Does your driver have a larger sweet spot?
   The lower loft, the farther the ball will travel.
   The second longest club in your bag.
   Do golf balls make a difference?

   The book is organized into sections: Clubhead, shafts, the assembled club, Fitting, grips and golf balls, special populations, the golf industry and custom fitting of golf clubs.

   Each topic is clearly and concisely written. It is an owner’s guide to the industry of golf.

   This book has really made me reconsider buying the ‘latest and greatest’ new club on the market. The knowledge has already saved me at least ten to twenty-fold (the price of last year’s ‘hot driver’).

   His emphasis is on getting the proper club fitted to your swing.

   I highly recommend it to the beginner, seasoned golfer, clubfitter, and golf retailer.
