This set of golf clubs was purchased as a gift for my three year old grandson who loves golf. He and his older brother are greatly enjoying the clubs. The quality of the clubs should help them stand up to the abuse a child his age can dish out.

I thought I was getting a great iron but its just another so so club.
I purchased the #4. Just used this club today. No practice. The club was great. The ball was straight,with loft, and distance, at least for me, 175-180 yds. Great investment.
I love the Texan Hybrids, but finding and ordering a specific club size is difficult and confusing. A visitor should be able to get to their selection category in 10 seconds. Try that as an objective.

My friend Jon who is new(er) to golf and had never used a hybrid before was admiring my Adams rescue 4-hybrid (which I love) and wanted a comparable club for his bag without spending a bunch of money. I said I’d see if I could find him a used one but before I could get to Play-it-Again I hopped on Amazon and found this Texan Classic. I figured for the price it would be worth a try and bought one for Jon. It arrived a few days later. Jon and I took it to a little nine-hole course (Columbus Park in Chicago) to put it through its paces. We took turns hitting a few balls with it and it worked fantastically well. I hit it alongside my much more expensive Adams club and hit it just about the same. The Texan has a little less loft than my Adams, but hit the ball just as far. It’s easy to make solid contact with this club. The shaft is pretty quality for a low $$$ club! I’d hit this club happily myself. The forged steel head isn’t quite a nice as a more expensive club, and the surface of the contact side of the club is just barely noticeably irregular where it’s attached to the back of the head, but that’s a minor complaint.
Overall this is a great club for the money and if you need a rescue wood or hybrid you’d be hard pressed to find a better deal. The shipping seems really high (more than the cost of the club!) but even with shipping it’s still a steal.
I was very dissapointed with amazon and the seller. I bought this club and when I recieved it at my house it did not include all that it said it would. It was clearly stated on the sellers page that it includes a adams golf a2 OS hybrid HEAD COVER and I never got it. I got the golf club and it was in great condition and a great club but the head cover was not sent. I went through the proper procedure of claiming a item not recieved in the customer service department and they emailed me that it didn’t come with a head cover through email. I was very angry and decided to call and talk to someone about it because it was clearly stated on the seller’s website that it was sold with a head cover. After 30 minutes of trying to communicate with the operator who could not use a computer well or speak english well, he finally saw that it was supposed to come with one and said sorry. I STILL have NOT recieved my head cover a month after my purchase. I do not reccomend buying this product unless you are fine with not recieving everything that was listed. It is a great golf club and it did come quick.
I bought both the 3 and 4 and love them. They are very easy to hit and have improved my game out of the rough.
Ordered the hybrid about one month ago, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance of the club. Sets up nice and is very forgiving. The process went very smooth – the club arrived five days after I placed the order, and included a head cover.
Excellent product from Adams. I don’t know about their other clubs, but their hybrids are outstanding.
We looked around for good quality junior golf clubs for our son who is turning 8. We found these and thought they would be perfect. I ordered them on a Tuesday and they arrived on a Thursday, incredibly fast shipping!!! I opened the box to inspect them and they are exactly as ordered, which is an awesome orange color too! My son is going to have these clubs for several years and get a lot of use out of them! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for junior clubs for their kids!
